Hand in hand – from the vision to future conference.

In the run-up to DIGICON, the greatest challenge was to design a new event format, to establish the event with a high level of public awareness in a sustainable manner and across industries. Söllner Communications supported the Ludwig-Maximilians-University and Digitale Stadt München e. V. in designing, implementing and establishing DIGICON.

02 – SOLUTION

Bringing a
new event
format to life.

A new event format starts with the creation of an event concept, in which we as a full-service agency take on both the strategic concept, and all accompanying measures for you. The result of the event preparation phase is a convincing new event format that takes all state-of-the-art event facets into account. Today, the DIGICON conference and evening event brings together over 400 top decision-makers from business and science every year.

In addition to how the programme and its content are compiled, it is the visual appearance that ultimately determines the success of the event and whether it becomes established. The layout as well as the texts of the DIGICON website come from our full-service event agency. All other accompanying communication media – online and print formats – were also created by our internal creative department: from the event programme booklet and various event presentations to the sponsor documents.

In search of a venue for DIGICON, we visited event locations in Munich. After finding the perfect conference location, we then booked it. But more is needed if it is to be successful! For this reason, Söllner Communications was responsible for the entire event logistics: Technology, catering, decoration and the cloakroom were all organised by our full-service event agency. The event management on site also lay in the capable hands of our Munich event agency.

A PROMISING TRIUMVIRATE: PROGRAMME, VISITORS, SPONSORS.

The dramaturgical structure of the programme determines the success or failure of an event. Therefore, Söllner Communications helps put together the programme and briefs the speakers. In addition, our event agency takes on the participant management, the RSVP administration, hotel bookings and the dispatch of the event documents as well as the sponsor management. An important basis for all processes is budget adherence and cost management. Not least because of our reliable adherence to event budgets, we can look back on decades of successful event management and satisfied customers.

DIGICON is a lasting great success. So far, all conferences have been sold out. The media enthusiasm and the attention of the industry players confirms the success of this new event format in the business city of Munich. The positive feedback of the participants is reinforced by the numerous positive event reports of the newspapers and magazines and testifies to our implementation strength. Digitale Stadt München e. V., the organiser, was pleased about its growing number of members. And this success is growing!
