Giving a town festival media attention.

In order to properly celebrate its 40th anniversary as a town, Stein set out in search of a full-service agency. The agenda included the development of an integrated concept for the festive implementation of a one-year long jubilee campaign. Including numerous cultural, entertaining and informative highlights in the form of a diverse supporting programme as the highlight of the town’s anniversary.

From the Spider Murphy Gang concert to the newly designed anniversary logo: Söllner Communications took on the conception, planning and implementation of the varied anniversary campaigns and events that allowed the town of Stein to live it up. The 40th anniversary of the town’s incorporation and the 200th birthday of Lothar von Faber, who shaped the town like no other, needed to be duly celebrated.

MUSIC TO OUR EARS:
THE TOWN FESTIVAL WAS A TOP EVENT.

Organising a three-day town festival meant a lot of logistical planning for the project management team. Our event agency was responsible for the conception, organisation and coordination of the stage programme: devising an artist and activity plan for the stage, the booking and detailed coordination with the artists, the agreement of the conditions and the obtaining of legal permits. We were also responsible for the supervision and coordination of the stage programme as well as the construction and technical equipment of the stage.

A TOWN FESTIVAL, THREE DAYS
AND HUNDREDS OF TO-DOS.

Information topics such as discussions with sponsors, competitions and presentations had to be coordinated and organised for the event and a detailed director’s plan was necessary. Other events and activities far away from the stage were also organised, artists booked and clubs contacted. After all, there had to be something for every Steiner at the festival!

The town festival was not the only highlight that Söllner Communications had the pleasure of organising. Our full-service agency also produced an individually prepared anniversary magazine with four issues. It contained exciting information about the town as well as historical facts and stimulated interactions with the people of Stein.

What remains at the end are many happy faces and beautiful memories: More than 6,000 enthusiastic Steiner and visitors attended and supported the town festival – and the highlight of the anniversary. Our perfectly co-ordinated anniversary activities rallied all target groups, which also went down as a great success.
